Your appointment

We feel your experience with QEII Jubilee Hospital should be as pleasant and productive as possible, and that starts even before you arrive. Here you'll find information on what to expect during your visit, and your rights and responsibilities as a patient.

Referrals and booking

As a public health provider, most of services are offered free of charge to people with a Medicare card. However, you will often need a written referral from your general practitioner (GP) before we can book you in.

Whether you're visiting us for a day appointment or you're staying overnight, you'll need to know what to expect, what to bring and where you can get further information.

Leaving hospital

Our staff will work with you to plan your return home after your stay in hospital. This will help to ensure that you have everything you need for a full recovery when you leave us.
