Visitors are able to attend our facilities in Metro South Health.

Visitors are asked to help keep patients safe by maintaining physical distancing where possible and practising hand hygiene. Please refer to our hospital visitor restrictions for current information on visitation restrictions at our facilities and mask requirements.

At QEII Hospital

Visitors are welcome between the hours of 8am and 8pm. Some limitations are in place for Outpatients and Intensive Care Units. Please call ahead to confirm.

• Each patient may have:
  • Two people per patient (there are no age restrictions)
  • For two hours per day (between 8am and 8pm)

Please note: If this does not suit family, cultural or community expectations, please advise staff so needs can be accommodated.
