The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services and a 24-hour emergency department. We are supported by local Community Health Centres at Eight Mile Plains, Mount Gravatt, Corinda and Inala.
We provide a range of specialties including general medicine, surgery, cardiology, geriatric medicine, gynaecology, orthopaedics, intensive care, neurology, gastroenterology, urology and respiratory medicine.
In July 2022, QEII opened a 26-bed medical inpatient ward and modular accommodation for administration. In December 2023, a further medical inpatient ward will be delivered as part of the Accelerated Infrastructure Development Program (AIDP). The new ward offers greater capacity to support demand and improve patient flow across Metro South Health.
The Queensland Government is investing further $465 million as part of the QEII Jubilee Hospital Expansion project. The expansion will deliver an additional 112-beds (including 12-bed ICU), 8 operating theatres and a multi level car park. plan/structure.
